Down Fahaheel highway exit 208 lies The Village, an establishment where Kuwaitis love to show off their gears and outfits. A lovely place with a range of restaurants and cafes ranging from Italian to American to local.
My experience today was in an American chain called Smashburger, a fast casual burger joint. Here are a few pictures to begin with:

Kuwait burger? Hmm... So yeah, they do take into consideration some cultural ingredients in a specific market. One of their toppings is Ma'booch! I think that's awesome!
You can also notice that they have chicken if you don't feel like eating meat, and they have a selection of buns (breads) as well as lettuce wrap for those weight watchers.
Honestly, their burgers are lighter and less fatty than those you get in other burger restaurants, not to forget that they taste so good, you will talk about it for days.
Price: Not expensive, but definitely not Burger King cheap. They serve USDA approved meat so it comes as a higher cost than the usual fast food restaurants. Definitely worth it! Our bill of 2 didn't exceed KD 9, ordering 2 customized burgers, 2 sides of french fries (did I mention they have a selection of sides other than fries?,) and 2 sodas.
I definitely recommend Smashburger to all my friends and family members. A great location (+ 2-3 other locations in Kuwait,) a mouth-watery experience, and affordable to almost everyone. Next time I'm thinking burgers, Smashburger is on top of my mind easily.

As I believe in the saying that "more is less and less is more," this restaurant proves this saying to be right in many ways.
Interior Design: As simple as it gets. White wall, Red seats, wooden tables and decorations, that's it. Indeed, in a burger joint, you don't need to look all fancy and stuff, you just want to fill that belly of yours, of course, with a hint of style and order. The space is well used as they have seats indoors and outdoors if you are a smoker.
The Food: Oh man! I can safely say that these burgers are one of the best you can ever have in Kuwait. The burgers are so delicious, they easily compete with Johnny Rocket's, Elevation, and Shake Shack.
